Streamline event management with the new EventsAir Smart Connector for Membes AMS

The Membes team is pleased to announce that EventsAir now integrates with Membes AMS. This integration has been developed by the EventsAir team, via their brand-new Smart Connector and it's available now for all Membes AMS users.

Why use the EventsAir Smart Connector?

If you’re running events in EventsAir but managing your association in Membes AMS, this connector removes manual data entry or reconciliation. It ensures your event registrations, attendance, and contact details stay synced across both systems, saving you time and reducing errors.

This also gives you the opportunity to extend the event functionality within Membes AMS, making your processes more powerful, connected, and efficient. The result? Smoother operations and a more unified experience for your team and your members.

What can It do?

Once the Smart Connector is enabled, you can:

✅ Automatically sync new EventsAir event registrations to Membes AMS
✅ Keep member contact records aligned across platforms
✅ Display EventsAir events on your Membes AMS calendar (if desired)
✅ Track registration types, payment status, cancellations, and updates
✅ Automatically log event registration profile interactions in Membes AMS
✅ Optional: Trigger CPD points in Membes AMS from attendance in EventsAir

Real-world examples

• Carol, your event coordinator, sets up a conference in EventsAir. The Smart Connector auto-creates the event in Membes AMS and links registrations as they come in.
• Paul is manually added as a speaker in EventsAir, he’s automatically registered in Membes AMS with a speaker tag and paid status.
• Brenda registers for an event online but later cancels. Her Membes AMS profile reflects this in near real time, keeping everything up to date.
• Henry registers but hasn’t paid. When payment is confirmed in EventsAir, his Membes AMS registration status updates to “Paid.”
• Even if the Smart Connector is enabled after registrations have started, the system will catch up automatically, sending historical data and updating Membes AMS accordingly.

If you’re already using EventsAir, simply reach out to your EventsAir contact for more information about accessing the Smart Connector. Once that’s arranged, submit a quick ticket to the Membes Help Desk and we’ll provide your API key required for this integration - with no additional fees or setup charges from Membes.

This integration is a powerful way to expand your event capabilities while keeping your member data in sync and your admin team focused on what matters most.
